    A Random Poem I Liked

    Elegy in a Country Churchyard

The men that worked in England
They have their graves at home:
And bees and birds of England
    About the cross can roam.

But they that fought for England,
    Following a falling star,
    Alas, alas for England
    They have their graves afar.

And they that rule in England,
    In stately conclave met,
    Alas, alas for England
They have no graves as yet.

    – from The Ballad of St. Barbara and Other Poems (1922)

I'd like it if you gave your interpretation of the images and symbols used, and any other rhetorical devices.
I'm not sure what to make of it, although I did sense a good deal of profundity, albiet very abstract profundity.
